Direct contact between Jews and Muslims is rare. Survey data show an asymmetry: Jews more often acknowledge discrimination against Muslims and are more tolerant of Muslim religious practices, while Muslims in Western countries express higher agreement with antisemitic stereotypes. Many Jews view Muslim extremists as a major source of current antisemitism. Despite data limits and community diversity, the findings show that enmity is not inevitable, but existing tensions must be addressed through education, dialogue, and political action.
